  1. Shouldn't More Resources Being Given Out After Storage Level Raised?

    People get 400k resources usually per raid without the bonus. SInce the storage expanded shouldn't we get more per raid.

      Currently, there is a cap on the number of resources that can be taken from each player. This is done to prevent players from losing too much, but it does also prevent larger raids from occurring. We are currently considering changes to this system so that it scales better with Storage increases and provides more satisfying targets in the future. Hope that info helps!

    • Partial Diamond Boost

      players should be able partially speed up or finish buildings with diamonds. for example if a building costs 267 to finish and you only have 67 diamonds then we should be able to spend what little diamonds we have for a time partial finish/speed up of the building. I believe this would encourage players with less diamonds that don't necessarily pay to play. also if players see that you could spend diamonds even if they didn't have the total amount it may persuade many of them to purchase diamond packs

        Adding partial boosts makes the usage of it significantly more complicated to explain to new users. To spend less Diamonds and get a partial speed up, you can always log back in at a later time and use the Diamonds then. Hope that helps!

            Challenge is necessary to keeping any game consistently exciting and capable of making player feel proud of their achievements. The game will always be balanced in a way that upgrading becomes harder in order for the top end to feel the most rewarding.

            • Block Kingdom Members from Joining During War

              I advise to block join to the kingdoms other players (new members of the kingdom) if kingdom already requested war.

              When kingdom request war, kingdom not aloud join new members until war is over. This is fair for all kingdoms and players.

                Players that join Kingdoms during a War are not eligible to participate in that War. Because of this, we do not see a reason to prevent players from joining. Thank you for your suggestion!

                  There are no plans to create a web version of Greed for Glory. However, some players choose to play on PCs using Android Emulators. These may work for you, but we do not explicitly support them. Hope that info helps!

                • War Should Be Won By Overall Performance, Not Strongest Player

                  Base the Results of the war on the teams overall performance and not just which team has the strongest player

                  War winners are predominantly the kingdom with the strongest player. If the system of scoring points in a war was introduced, for example more points for players winning a battle against an opposing red face, and the war was won by the kingdom reaching a set number of points soonest. This would encourage less advanced players to attack and participate more and wars could be won by the most active and aggressive kingdom. There would not be the same match…

                    We have in-depth statistical tracking on results for War Matchups. Only around 55% of Wars are won by the Kingdoms with the offensively/defensively stronger players. To us, that illustrates that Matchups are both well-balanced and lean towards being strategically-based, not power-based. Thank you for your suggestion!

                  • Remove War Handicap

                    What is the point of spending time and money on upgrading when any advantage gained by having high lvl troops and def are reduced in war? At crossroads I can 2 or 3 star most 3 red skulls, but in war I cant even 1 star a red skull village with lower lvl def. Its like my troops are disadvantaged because im higher lvl than opponent. I have even had 2 of my max reapers at full size get beaten by a single reaper in castle, am I trippin or have you guys rigged wars so that those that put…

                      Neither offensive or defensive stats are changed during Wars. Wars are more likely to have units in Castles that need to be cleared out. That may be where the increased difficulty comes from. Hope this info helps!

                    • Remove the Morale System

                      The current morale system is flawed. Remove and replace with a simple countdown timer. 1st day of war - player can attack once every 3 hours. 2nd day of war - player can attack once every hour. Clean and Simple.

                        The Morale system intentionally exists to limit powerful players from attacking weaker players in War and to prevent weaker players from incorrectly going after much stronger players. As this system is intended to push Wars towards a more balanced/even playing field, this feature will not be removed. Thank you for your suggestion!

                          Unfortunately, according to Google’s Terms we can only give out Diamonds through the Google Play Store. Luckily, we do have ways of earning Diamonds in-game through things like clearing trees and taking on singleplayer challenges. Sorry we can’t do more to help!

                            Bugs are fixed in conjunction with new updates; it is a continuous, ongoing process. For reference, the bugs we are working on fixing can be found in the Bug Report Forums, usually marked as Under Review. As with the previous update, the next update has a large list of bugs that are getting attention because players have reported them. If you have a specific issue you feel needs to be fixed, please report it in the Bug Forum and it’s chances of getting patched improve significantly. Regardless of bugs, new Features will also be frequently added to the game as they are what make the game exciting and encourage players to stay and enjoy the new content. Hope that info helps!

                          • Player-driven Economy/Market

                            Create an open market for players to post resources for sale. There would be three categories: sell for iron, sell for gold, and sell for diamonds. Players could post their diamonds for sale for gold, or post their iron for sale for diamonds, etc. Buyers go in to the market, find what the want and purchase. There could be a posting fee as a resource sink. This addresses the issue of game imbalance because the market would be equally available to all players.

                              While it may seem like this can help balance, it actually can imbalance things in a way that hurts the intended progression of the game, or at the very least, make the progression balance very difficult to maintain. It also greatly increases the risk of newly-discovered glitches/hacks affecting large quantities of players instead of being limited to a handful accounts. For these reasons, we won’t be able to add any player-driven economy. Thank you for your suggestion though!

                            • Make Troops and Buildings Change More Visually Each Level

                              I've come to realize that the look of Greed for Glory is getting a bit boring. I understand, there's some things that change appearance, like the wizard rockets when they hit level 8 or the dragons when they hit level 4, but things need to change! Think of how much more rewarding it is when you upgrade something and it just keeps looking more awesome it you go. Other games have this, and it looks pretty great! (Sorry for bringing them into this)

                                For performance reasons, the more the buildings are the same the easier it is on how the game runs. At this point, we won’t be making big changes to the way buildings look.

                                  Chests are intended to be a rarer and valuable reward. Adding more Treasure Chests into the game would make each Treasure less special and negatively affect the challenge and balance of the game. In general, we will not be giving out more rewards, Treasures, resources, Diamonds just to make the game easier. Thank you for your suggestion!

                                    Due to their powerful splash damage, attacks would generally be over before they begin if a Dragon or Stone Golem was on defense. This would cause some major balance issues that we currently wish to avoid. Thank you for the suggestion!

                                        Save for one event, we try to keep events as VIP neutral as possible. VIP itself is the best deal the game offers and is unlikely to change much going forward. Thank you for the suggestion!

                                      • Invite Kingdom for War

                                        Going to war is awesome, and the matching engine is getting better and better. But how cool would it be if the kingdom leader could invite an other kingdom to go to war. This way you know your opponent and you can't blame gfg if you lose. On top of that, inviting the kingdom above you is a great way to work your kingdom to the top!

                                          While being able to go up against specific Kingdoms would be cool, players would use this system to transfer resources and Glory. As this heavily impacts the balance of the game we won’t be able to add it. That said, a feature that functioned more like the spar system with very limited rewards might be something players are interested in. Thank you for the suggestion!
