    • Why Do I Lose More Glory than I Gain?

      Please be advised that we are currently giving up with the glory system b/c it looks unfair. If we can win only 3 glory, why do we lose up to 36 glory?

        Earning Glory is just climbing a competitive ladder. Because Glory serves as a Rankings system, the amount that’s gained will almost never be the same as the amount you could lose.

        Glory is based on an Elo Ranking system that matches your value against your opponent’s value and calculates the Win/Loss amounts from that. Essentially, the more Glory you have the more you can lose against low Glory opponents and, vice versa, the higher the Glory your opponent has, the more you can gain.

        Since it is a Ranking system, not a Resource, the higher you get in Glory, the harder you should expect it to be to both keep the Glory you have as well as find more.

        Changing this would actually imbalance the game and where people can place in the Rankings. Hope that helps!

      • Heroes Should Defend When Upgrading

        Not only they sleep after being killed, they also sleep while upgraded. This makes them unused for 90% of the time. Please make them available even during upgrade
        Or, Make upgrading available even if they are sleeping. They sleep for so long you just can't use them while upgrading/sleeping.

          To keep things consistent with with other defenses, Heroes will not defend while upgrading. It’s recommended to select one of the other two Heroes for defense while one is upgrading. Thank you for your suggestion!

        • When Do New Town Center Levels Come Out?

              This change was voted on by the community in February ’15. The benefits of the change allows most players to more actively earn Glory and climb the ranks towards current top players. Top players will, in-turn, benefit by having more possible decent-Glory players to match up against in the Crossroads.

              The effects of the change will take some time before the Glory economy is better-balanced out and more normalized.

            • Exchanging Gold for Iron (or Iron for Gold)

              An exchange office where i can change iron vs. gold or gold vs. iron

              (Possibly at an exchange rate of 1 to 2 or 1 to 3)

              This could possibly be done through a Market building that limited the amount of resources you could trade over time. Upgrading the building could upgrade your trade capacity.

                This has the high potential to create balancing issues amongst the resources and progression of the game. While this may be a cool feature, we feel the risk outweighs the benefits.

              • Fix Shields / Still Lose Glory and Resources

                I keep getting attacked while under shield. I lose glory and my resources. Please fix this

                  Players never lose Glory or Resources when they have a Shield. Your Village may be attacked while a Shield is up, but this attack is generally hidden, and results in no penalty to your Village. Keep in mind that there are two types of Shields: Resource Shields and War Shields. The Shields protect against separate types of attacks, so while you may be on a War Shield, it won’t prevent you from being attacked by a standard Raid and vice versa. Hope that info helps!

                • Train 1 Troop and 1 Trap at the Same Time

                  Either the training grounds should be able to train both the troops & traps @ the same time (1 of each) or make 2 separate buildings 1 training (for troops)& the other research (for traps). Thanks for your time.

                    In general, we’re not looking to remove progression difficulty or required effort/time from any parts of the game. With this particular request, we’re also currently happy with players making the tough strategic choice of upgrading their offense or their defense. Thank you for the suggestion!

                      Costs and Times are specifically chosen to balance out the challenge and progression of the game. Without this balance, the game would run out of goals and players would have little to enjoy as they continue playing.

                        Due to their powerful splash damage, attacks would generally be over before they begin if a Dragon or Stone Golem was on defense. This would cause some major balance issues that we currently wish to avoid. Thank you for the suggestion!

                          Diamonds are intended to be a rare, highly-desirable resource. They are balanced in a way to keep the game challenging and create an intentional rate of progression. Because of this, we will only be adding more free Diamonds to features in extreme cases where we feel it is necessary. Thank you for your suggestion!

                              Any amount of Trading of resources puts the balance and progression of the game at risk. For that reason, we will not be allowing the exchange of resources between players. Thank you for your suggestion.

                                If your Kingdom was skipped for War, it was due to not being able to find a suitable opponent. Were you to be matched against someone, the War would be heavily imbalanced towards one side. If you consistently have trouble finding suitable opponents, you may need to recruit more Kingdom Members.

                                  At this point, stockpiling Treasure Chest rewards would could have drastic effects on the game’s economy and progression. We will, however, look for ways to ensure that Treasure Chest items are never wasted!

                                    Unfortunately, release on iOS causes huge amounts of overhead when it comes to improving the game with bug fixes and adding new features. Apple’s review process takes weeks causing Android players to be negatively affected in the event an update is needed. For the sake of the current player base, this is something we’re looking to avoid at the moment. Thank you for the suggestion!

                                  • Player-driven Economy/Market

                                    Create an open market for players to post resources for sale. There would be three categories: sell for iron, sell for gold, and sell for diamonds. Players could post their diamonds for sale for gold, or post their iron for sale for diamonds, etc. Buyers go in to the market, find what the want and purchase. There could be a posting fee as a resource sink. This addresses the issue of game imbalance because the market would be equally available to all players.

                                      While it may seem like this can help balance, it actually can imbalance things in a way that hurts the intended progression of the game, or at the very least, make the progression balance very difficult to maintain. It also greatly increases the risk of newly-discovered glitches/hacks affecting large quantities of players instead of being limited to a handful accounts. For these reasons, we won’t be able to add any player-driven economy. Thank you for your suggestion though!

                                          The value of diamonds needs to be maintained for it to be a strong motivational reward for things such as Kingdom Leagues and Single Player campaigns. Open resource conversion would be either unusable in the early progression or Diamonds would be too easy to attain.
